Happy Tails, Dogs that have found a home.

Tommy

Tommy a neutered male was found when he was about 8 weeks old. His previous owner had decided to dump him at a construction site. When we found him he was completely bitten up by red ants (which had left him hairless), had major skin infections, worms, and looked as though he had not eaten for weeks. We immediately got him veterinary care and after a couple weeks his hair began to grow back. Tommy now lives in one of our homes parading around, enjoying life. He is K-9 For Love's little baby who just seems to keep growing.

Casper

Our male Maltese, who was relinquished by his owner with his son, ended up staying in the family. After being separated from his son who got adopted, Casper refused to eat and went through serious depression. A relative of ours took a serious liking to him (and this person never even wanted a dog) and now these two are inseparable

Kipper

Casper's son Kipper went to a home where he will be loved forever. His new owner said that it was her dog, who has just passed, reincarnated. She still calls me to this day to tell me how much Kipper reminds her of her late Louie. Kipper now runs the fields of Michigan with his new sister, a yorkie whom he has taken a great liking to.

Daisy

was very lucky. Brittany who is the granddaughter of the founder of K9 for Love  found herself needing to help these helpless animals devoted her time and effort for years and is the now Secretary of K9 for Love. She took a special love to this feisty dog that everyone thought was more than they could handle as you can see Brittany has tamed her with love and care and has a friend for life. Thank you Brittany for being someone that took one of the special dogs that was a little harder to handle than most and brought out the best in her and you got lucky and got the best bud ever!

Herman

was found with his brothers and sisters abandoned at 6 weeks old. After a trip to the Veterinary and nice bath and love a couple weeks later when Teresa 14ys old laid eyes on him it was love at first sight for the both of them. Here they are today both happy and healthy. He now lives in Tennessee loves the weather and on most days he runs the household. He just keeps giving love and the family is a better home for having him a part of it

Lilly

was brought to the rescue center at four weeks old she could not even stand. With love and care she gained her strength back.  When 16 year old Natalie saw Lilly she fell immediately in love and her mother had no choice but to adopt Lilly. Lilly now lives in Ft Pierce and as you can tell gets more than a little love and attention.
